Leofoto LF-MPU-100 Universal L plate for the Nikon D800, D700, D7000, D5100, D3100, D90
The universally usable Leofoto MPU-100 L plate is suitable for various Nikon dslr cameras. The L plate can be used in combination with the Nikon D800, D700, D7000, D5100, D3100 and D90. This L-bracket also fits the Canon EOS 5DII, 5DIII, 6D and 7D. Thanks to the use of aluminium, this L-Bracket is extremely strong yet lightweight. The base plate and the L-piece are connected with a robust allen screw.
L-plate made of black anodised aluminium
The two separate parts of the universal MPU-100 L-plate are CNC machined from aluminium and black anodised for high durability. Leofoto has equipped both parts of the MPU-100 with an Arca-Swiss quick coupling and therefore this L-plate is Arca-Swiss compatible for both horizontal and vertical use. The L-plate measures 110mm x 38mm x 80mm. You can change batteries when the L-Blackplate is mounted under your camera and Leofoto has added a carrying eye for a wrist strap.
An L-Bracket for ease of use
Use of an L-plate or L-bracket maximizes the stability and ease of use of your camera on a ballhead when changing from a horizontal (landscape) to a vertical (portrait) shooting position. Thanks to the L-Bracket, the optical axis of the lens is always positioned directly over the centre of the ball when shooting portraits, and the camera weight also presses directly on the central axis of the ball head. The Arca-Swiss quick-release coupling also allows you to shift the camera on the ballhead for perfect positioning in relation to the subject. Leofoto supplies specially adapted L-plates for specific camera models, both for DSLR cameras and for compact system cameras and digital compact cameras. As soon as new cameras appear on the market, Leofoto designs a new L plate for that special camera model.
